Below are some famous Winston Churchill’s quotes.
I think that all people must remember these quotes.
1. We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.
2. There is no such thing as a good tax.
3. The inherent vice of capitalism is the unequal sharing of blessings; the inherent virtue of socialism is the equal sharing of miseries.
4. An appeaser is one who feeds a crocodile—hoping it will eat him last.
5. A fanatic is one who can’t change his mind and won’t change the subject.
6. A lie gets halfway around the world before the truth has a chance to get its pants on.
Great stuff! Were you able to see the lunar eclipse last night? I drove up to our mountain, Mt. Pinos, behind our house — and saw the spectacle from 8,000! Just amazing!
Wanted to share the following with you.

:)) Dawn
No eclipse last night. We were too busy preparing for flight home. Now we are in Queens and very happy!
It was already too hot and boring in Florida.
Am I right that you suffered depression at some time (I did)?
Thanks for the link.
Are you still in Hawaii?
Home :)) work in Malibu this week, Hawaii April 26 – May 9. I think depression is merely human — like growing old. it’s what we make of it that counts :))
I also don’t jive with Florida!
Churchill has such a great quotable mind. Knowing “We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.” is a great way to go through life.
Reblogged this on PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS and commented:
Thoughts of extraordinary people live for centuries. Winston Churchill is one of them. Unfortunately, many people forgot today his contribution to mankind.
I don’t forget Churchill. It’s only because of him (and a few others) that the French don’t speak German now! 🙂 (Maybe we should start learning though!) Have a nice week-end!

Enjoy your weekend too!
