Every photo you take communicates something about a moment in time – a brief slice of time of where you were, who you were with, and what you were doing.
I would add to the quote above: “…what you thought and/or felt at that moment”.
Today I added the page “Queens gallery”. You can see it HERE. Click on the first photo and you’ll see all of them in proper sizes and colors.
I mentioned several times in my posts that we can find beauty everywhere. It is inside us and outside. There are wonderful sunrises and sunsets everywhere. There are beautiful plants, flowers, animals, birds, parks, wonderful buildings in every big city or a small town.
Beautiful nature and beautiful people are everywhere!
I hope that you’ll like something in my photos shot in Queens.
Please take a look and let me know what you liked.
Thank you!
The black and whites of the squirrel. Quite the character. –Curt
There are several B & W squirrels. One of them is on a tree. I had to wistle several times to have her in proper position on a branch. 😉
I understand the feeling, JF. Why can’t the animals behave the way we want them to when we are snapping their photos. (grin) My next blog will feature a grey squirrel hanging upside down on our bird feeder. –Curt
Looking forward to see your squirrel+++.
Great photos! I have been to Queens but didn’t recognize many of these locations. I’m enjoying visiting them through your lens. Thank you
Glad to share all views with you. 😉
Beautiful pattern and colors! Well done, JF!
Thank you, Amy!
I think the squirrels are adorable but I think my favourite photo is the very first one (the lads on the wall). The composition is very strong. A lot of your photos have a very good artistic composition. I like your green graphic above too. Your artistic talents are starting to shine out. 🙂
Sarah, I need only 30-40 years to polish my talents. 😉
😀
It’s a great range of photos, JF. You have a variety of subjects, shapes, angles and colours. I like the two photos of squirrels, too, and the first photo is such a wonderfully natural glimpse of two lads sharing time together. But I really love ‘Morning in Queens’.. The purple sky is quite stunning. 🙂
I am glad that I learned how to create galleries and can share photos with you.
Great set of photos ~ The Morning in Queens was my favorite, just a great mood setter.
I was lucky to catch the moment. Happy to share it.
The beauty of luck is that it is always attracted to those who are prepared and in the right mind ~
Right!
