For many decades I photographed interesting places, scenes, people, etc.
Photography for me is a very important hobby, an essential part of my life.
Very often I meet somebody or something and make a shot. During processing I try to understand better what attracted me and to express meaning of the shot..
Below is a picture of a stranger I met in the morning this summer in Pocono Manor.
What a model!
What a proud beautiful profile!
This stranger loves walking and knows that walking is very good for health.
I hope you know it too.
I used to know the species of this type of bird, but it has disappeared from my head. I know it is related to the grouse. You have got me on a quest now! – Sol

I think it is a wild turkey. Not sure.
It took a long time to remember (chemo brain set in) it is a Guinea Fowl. Quest achieved!
Congratulations!
The bird looks very similar to guinea fowl but not exactly the same. I stay in a city and last week i found a nest with 30 eggs in it in my garden!!
Wow! I had so many eggs only in our freezer.
I do have a problem though 2 cats also own the area. I am somewhat troubled about how to handle this… Silly Guinea fowl
Teach the cats to fry eggs.
Wow, I just saw that you dropped by and are now following my baby Blog!! (“Baby” because I still feel so new at it!)
I love what I am seeing in yours because I have been feeling sorry for myself at 68 and being forced to retire!
Looking forward to more inspiration! Thanks.
Glad to meet. Cheers!
I think I’ve seen a picture looks like your profile picture. Is it the balcony of a building in Barcelona designed by Antoni Gaudi?
Yes, it is. The photo is by my nephew Igor.
