WPC Challenge: Shadow
8
Below are two photos taken at the Carriage House (Pocono Manor, PA).
Care creates and saves beauty..
The wheels are spinning in my head all the time.
Inspiration is some mysterious blessing which happens when the wheels are turning smoothly.
Sometimes the wheels of justice grind slowly.

Some time ago Cee had a black and white photo challenge with the topic “Glass”.
I missed the challenge but then I found a vase from a colored glass and made photos of it.
Below is black and white picture of the vase.
Then I made a color version of the same photo.
Finally, I put the vase on a different spot of the table and made a shot that shows not only the vase but also window (it has glass too) and cars (with glass in their windows).
Please let me know what is your favorite of these three photos?
Below are two photos of a small triangular area with benches on it. It is not far from where we live.
One side of it borders the Queens boulevard with three lanes of traffic, two others – side streets’ traffic lanes.
There is no protection from the sun there and the air is full of gases from passing buses and cars.
However, there are always people there.
Some of them just sit alone, some talk with strangers.
What brings them to this area? There are many wonderful parks nearby.
I think that many people want always be in the center of events. They enjoy noise and dynamics of the big city much more than calmness and beauty of nature.
They want to feel that they are together with many other people.
Do you agree?
It was raining very hard and I opened a window to enjoy sights and smells.
A man and a dog went out from our building and turned left.
I thought: “Why were they going for a walk in such weather?”
I grabbed my camera and was ready to make a shot when they pass a huge bush on their way left.
However, suddenly they appeared before me.
Both were smiling!
