Last two years were rather difficult for me. For some time I lost interest in blogging and I even stopped learning painting.
Fortunately, days come after nights.
Below is my first painting of 2017.

On the edge of chaos
Millions of people believe that life came from the ocean.
Millions of turtles believe that life came from the sand.
Both oceans and sand are chaotic (even often they look orderly).
Anyway, if you don’t believe in God it means that you are sure that people
are fruits of chaos.
Is rain a painter?
This week WordPress Photo Challenge is transmogrify. It means:
“To change in appearance or form, especially strangely or grotesquely; transform.”
We know that rain used by many artists and photographers to show force of nature, its beauty, its life force.
The first picture below shows rain from the window of the 25th floor in Hollywood, Florida.
It’s darker outside, there is a lot of water on the floor of the loggia. However, there is nothing strange or grotesque in this picture.
The second picture shows a shot of rain on the floor of the loggia. I made it in black and white to strengthen the impression that all drops of rain created.
Here everything changed completely. There is a picture with many circular and non-circular shapes, there are eyes that look at you and judge you.
Hopefully, all eyes are friendly.

Today I am 82.
I am grateful to God for my life (with many ups and downs), my dear wife (my love and best friend for 56 years), our children and grandchildren, our friends!
I enjoy beauty of nature, meeting people, reading, watching movies, playing chess, walking, taking pictures and many other things.
I am happy!
Life is wonderful!

Dear friends, I am 81 today!
I had hard time lately (pneumonia +).
Thank God, I am alive and recovering!
Life itself is the most wonderful fairy tale.
The purpose of our lives is to be happy.
I thank everybody for love and friendship!
I thank wonderful people of medical profession!
I still need their help and your prayers!

Seasons
Time will pass and seasons will come and go.
There are seasons in life. Don’t ever let anyone try to deny you the joy of one season because they believe you should stay in another season… Listen to yourself. Trust your instincts. Keep your perspective.
Another season passed and we are going back to New York, to our family and friends there.
I will be 81 soon. It’s a very good number!
I read long time ago that in Mongolia “9” is a happy number. 81 = 9 X 9.
Is it nine times happiness?

Not too long ago I published the post FROM WINTER TO SUMMER.
Several months passed. We had wonderful time in Hollywood, Florida.
Now is time to move from summer to spring, from 84 degrees in Hollywood to 65 degrees in Queens, from palms to blooming magnolias, from our friends here to our family and friends in New York and New Jersey.
It takes only three hours to come from summer to spring and to enjoy wonders of New York City. In a week we can walk in the Central Park, we can go to the St. Patrick’s Cathedral, we can visit the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

Life is wonderful! You don’t need to be a millionaire to enjoy it! Just walk and look around you, smell flowers, soak wonderful views, greet people with smiles, listen to laughter of children, to music in churches, in some buildings on the 5th…

Definitely a man of 80+ years old. Retired long time ago.
I know that I love people, animals, birds, fishes (especially well prepared).
I love nature, food, exercising, doing a lot and doing nothing.
