We think of our lives as straight or not so straight roads but I believe that we often follow circles and our happiness and all emotions depend on their colors.

It is generally believed that life is striped. But I like your interpretation more.

are not isolated one from another and that each of us moving on a road
or in a circle with different results and emotions.
