Health is the greatest possession. Contentment is the greatest treasure. Confidence is the greatest friend.
There is no end of craving. Hence contentment alone is the best way to happiness. Therefore, acquire contentment.
Eventually, we reach the point where we start to realize that we are not going to find peace, contentment, happiness, strength, fearlessness – all of the things that in our heart of hearts we wish we had – outside of us..
One bright sunny morning I saw far away three fishermen who enjoyed themselves in a very dangerous place: on the edge of the pond in the middle of the 18th tee of the Pocono Manor golf course.
Fortunately, some golf balls were flying in my direction and they were safe at that moment.
I photographed the fishermen and went away thinking about love between generations and wonders of new discoveries.
I don’t know if there are fishes in the pond but I am sure that there are hundreds of golf balls in it.
For many decades I photographed interesting places, scenes, people, etc.
Photography for me is a very important hobby, an essential part of my life.
Very often I meet somebody or something and make a shot. During processing I try to understand better what attracted me and to express meaning of the shot..
Below is a picture of a stranger I met in the morning this summer in Pocono Manor.
What a model!
What a proud beautiful profile!
This stranger loves walking and knows that walking is very good for health.
I hope you know it too.
Today I am 82.
I am grateful to God for my life (with many ups and downs), my dear wife (my love and best friend for 56 years), our children and grandchildren, our friends!
I enjoy beauty of nature, meeting people, reading, watching movies, playing chess, walking, taking pictures and many other things.
I am happy!
Life is wonderful!
The old man on the photo below enjoys looking at the Atlantic ocean, people on the beach and in the water. It is very nice to feel sun rays on your skin and warmth of the air in February.
I am close to 82 and it is possible that I am older that the man on the photo. Both our lives are in winter season. We worked many years, had our joys and sorrows. Today we enjoy every minute knowing very well that life is precious and there is happiness in every season. .
Love to children always helped me to stay optimistic.
Add to it a memory of a warm sunny beach and I feel very good despite cold and nasty wind at the moment.
